This DVD arrived without a menu, and was formatted unusually with just a VIDEO_TS folder which, according to the folder information, contained 5GB of VOB files! Checking this further I discovered that one of the 1GB VOB files was in actual fact empty.

Also the necessary [but empty] AUDIO_TS folder was absent. All this meant that it wouldn't load in any way into TMPGEnc in order to create a menu.

The only way to 'reformat' it was to copy it SCART to SCART and then load it into TMPGEnc, which although not usual, worked. The Bitrate info shown below shows the original Bitrate and the Re-Authored Bitrate.
