Radiohead
Glastonbury Festival, Pilton Farm, Somerset
28/06/1997

This was clearly a band playing at their peak, playing as if their lives depended on it. And it transpired that they were. After the gig, Thom Yorke complained of the terrible onstage sound, claiming that no one could hear anything. You wouldn't know it in the audience, as one touching grandiose epic followed another, building to a stunning peak.
