"Waterbury Recorder No 3"
The Palace Theater, Waterbury, Connecticut, USA
18th Mar 1973

Tape Labeled: 1973 March 18 - The Palace Theater, Waterbury, Connecticut generation: unknown (likely low) cassette label = Maxell XL II High Position 90x2 transferred by me (Sara) in December 2004 from borrowed cassette tapes, with many thanks to T.! my playback deck = Philips (FCD485) my audio card = Sound Blaster Live recorded into HD via CD WAVE.
This sounds pretty nice but the left channel is less amplified so I re-balanced it a bit from the stereo, it's still less amplified than the right channel anyway. (notes from YGBC)

Until now, I have been dis-satisfied with every version of this show from the various recorders, but this recording for once, is great, lots of high frequencies, nice and clear and for once a great show to listen to. This is definately the best version so far of this concert, forget the rest. There are truly amazing versions of Set the Controls and Careful with that axe Eugene included in this show, introducing special effects like I have not heard before in these songs.
