Pink Floyd
"1ST GENERATION HI-FI"
The Dome, Brighton, UK
20th Jan 1972

Comments (from the Pink List)
This comes from the 1st gen tape and is a mild improvement over "The DarkSide Rehearsals". There is a tad less hiss on this one, as if the treble had been boosted on DarkSide Rehearsals. This recording is very clear, everything comes through very nicely. This is the first Dark Side Of The Moon performance (an attempt, at least!) and well worth getting if it's not already in your collection. As for the upgrade, I still think that DarkSide Rehearsals is a very nice release and quite comparable to this one, 'cept for the hiss.

Nigels Comments: The hiss must have been really bad, because I'm thinking that the hiss is still quite prominent on this version and could do with reducing slightly.
