Pink Floyd
Rainbow Theatre, Finsbury Park,
London - 17/02/1972

Although this is not the first live Dark Side Of The Moon performance by any means, it's the gig that Pink Floyd chose to premier their new piece to the music press to much critical acclaim, so this is quite a landmark gig in that respect. Technically I suppose it should be referred to as "Eclipse" at this stage. There seems to be an edit (on the record) in both "Time" and "Us &Them" resulting in a shortened version of each, and finally "Eclipse" fades out at the end. However there is a lovely guitar solo in "Time" though.

I have pain-stakingly restored this recording removing the crackle and pops caused by the original vinyl pressing from which this copy has been taken from.
