This is a really clear recording, which starts of with the an introduction to the band in French. The band are really on form with this show with excellent performances of Fat Old Sun, Set The Controls and One of These Days where the audience clap for nearly a minute during the beginning. This is one of several excellent versions of OoTD that were played during November 1971.

A few brief cuts during songs, some applause cut between songs. A few tape faults such as interference and speed changes. One annoying speed change at the end of "A Saucerful Of Secrets." Many good tapes resulted from this tour, and many solid performances. For sound quality, this one scores a little short of 16/11/71, but noticeably better than 20/11/71. AHM fades prematurely during Rick's jam. Overall though, it stands up well to multiple listens. The performance is excellent, though not particularly unusual.

The introduction is a few sentences in French, except for the concluding quip, "I hope everybody is stoned." Roger also says a few words in French before several songs. The encore of ASoS could be a bit more far out than usual.

I have extensivelty re-mastered this recording further by slightly reducing the hiss, making the music even clearer, plus a few gaps and speed noises have been removed as seamlessly as possible making this more enjoyable to listen to. There are still some problems which cannot be corrected, possibly due to creases in the original tape, like in the middle of Careful With that axe Eugene. I have removed the "annoying speed change" at the end of A Saucerful Of Secrets, and it sounded better now. This was quite a mess before I started to re-master and repair the many faults with this recording, now it's far superior than before.
