Pink Floyd
"Ossiach Master - Definitive Edition"
Stiftshoff, Ossiach, Austria (Ossiach Festival)
1st July 1971

This has some quite decent versions for this recording; no NR-artifacts used, and is pretty hissy/crispy.

Taken from a Reel-to-Reel copy of the Master recording, some tuneups were cut off, and AHM was cut short too. However with today's modern technology I have seamlessly joined the ending of Atom Heart Mother from a 3rd Generation recording (The Depths Of Space) after adjusting the volume to the same level as this release. The quality of the ending is of slightly less quality with the Stereo separation much narrower, but nevertheless it sounds much better than with the end completely missing. Hiss on this recording has been slightly reduced using the Light setting making the recording much clearer, without creating any NR artifacts.

The Tuning up of the Orchestra prior the performance of Atom Heart Mother is a rare occasion, with everyone tuning their instruments at the same time, the result isn't particularly great musically, but it's nice to hear the Orchestra tuning up and it's obvious that they are preparing for a grand performance of AHM.
