Pink Floyd
Broadcasting from Europa 1
Palais des Sports, Lyon, France 12/6/1971

This recording is taken from a Europa 1 French radio broadcast from June 1971. Possibly through tape transfers it ran noticably slow and is now speed corrected (5.5%) and tape-hiss significantly reduced, resulting in a much-improved recording, although still not quite warranting anything higher than an '8' rating.

Atom Heart Mother cuts in just after the start and is artificially ended early by the radio station with clapping faded in before the '...silence in the studio' section. The track does feature brass & choir though - a twenty voice choir plus three trombones, three trumpets & one tuba, conducted by John Aldiss.

1. Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun (13.27)
2. Cymbaline (9.16)
3. Atom Heart Mother (with Orchestra) (16.26)
