Pink Floyd
"Pictures of Pink Floyd - Volume One"
Konserthuset, Gothenburg, Sweden
11th Nov 1970

This is taken from an excellent condition LP and transferred to CD. It is one of my all-time favourite albums, and finally here it is in the best quality you could imagine. Even Second Cud (Blues) and Remergence are nice quality on this release, I always thought that those two tracks sounded much worse as it they had been recorded inside a cardboard box. I shall soon incorporate this album into the definitive version that includes volume 2 of the LP that was originally released on Vinyl. There is still a tiny bit of crackle and rumble from the vinyl record, but it is not very much.

The venue and date of this concert is also not certain, and there are a few other dates that can be considered:
- an often considered date and venue is on 06-02-1971 at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

- however most people say it is 11-11-1970, because of the show in Hamburg 3 days after, had a similar version of "The Embryo" at Ernst Merck Halle, Hamburg, Germany. The 11th November date does appear to be the most appropriate date to use.
Track Details:

1. Corrosion (The Libest Spacement Monitor)
2. Embryo
3. Fat Old Sun
4. Blues

5. Remergence

# Note: The last tracks was not actually from the same concert as the rest of this album, but has been included because it was on the original Vinyl release, and closes the album nicely. This is from alt. recorder of 26th Feb 1971 Stadthalle, Offenbach, West Germany
