Pink Floyd
Fairfield Hall, Croydon, UK - 18th Jan 1970

Although the quality is not great, this concert features some rarely performed and unusual performances. There are similarities with the music played for "The Man - The Journey", as there are parts of Embryo, Set the Controls and Main Theme that are completely unique, with masses of improvisation making this a highly interesting concert. I have for some time been trying to get a good quality recording of this show, and while the sound is somewhat tinny, the music is still mostly very clear. The hiss on this recording was diabolical, and I have managed to reduce this considerably, making it much more of a pleasure to listen to. Unfortunately several of the songs are cut short, but even so there is still some amazing music here.
