I found this excellent, nearly perfect soundboard
recording of an early Kraftwerk show, and decided to work out
a few tiny imperfections and reseed. The original quality demanded
that no EQ be performed on my part, and the only touch-ups involved
removing a very few quite nasty electrical pops or tape noises.
The set was a selection of the "poppier" cuts from their early
LPs, in addition to the newly released "Autobahn", including a
nice version of the title track. The nearly 100% stereo separation
assures us we have a true SB source. This wacky balance makes
for either a very interesting or very maddening experience if
listening with your cans. Listeners can decide for themselves.
There is only a bit of light hiss heard, maybe from copy noise
(there is an unknown gap in the original lineage information.)
Resulting quality is still a SUP/SUP-, in my opinion. Take in
an interesting show and enjoy!
