I have
been away working all week but arrived home this morning to find
the eagerly awaited DVD in the pile of mail.
What a way to spend a Saturday. It is truly awesome. I simply cannot
thank you enough.
Yes has been my favourite band since the mid seventies when
I was a high school kid of the prog rock era. I saw them perform
the show three times last summer (twice in the UK and one in the
USA) and the DVD that you sent captures all of the magic. I even
got to meet the band after one of the UK shows at an aftershow party.
Somewhat ironically, it was Rick Wakeman who actually told me to
search the internet when the tour was over to find the best footage!
Many, many thanks. If you find anything else from the 35th Anniversary
tour, I would be very interested to have a copy.
And by the way, great website!
Best Wishes Paul

Everything is great so
far. The shows from 1970 and 71 are really enjoyable. At this time,
you are really one of the only people who is consistent with getting
me great stuff, thanks!
What did you think of the last lot of CDs
I sent?
Your ability to remaster is incredible. That show from 1977 you
did sounds great. Your hard work is most definitely appreciated
over here. Take care and keep in touch.

from 1977
It is so great getting new stuff, especially when it looks as professional
as yours (i.e., the paper covers).
I really appreciate
your hard work, others will as well.
That Wall show from 6th August 1980 is amazing. You
must have been really close to a P.A. or the stage to get that top
notch of a recording.
Relating to by best ever recording of a
Pink Floyd show. |

Thank-you,
thank-you and triple thank-you for the video CD. It works perfectly
on my player. I just finished watching the whole thing and it has
much better quality than the one I had on tape. To me the Floyd
were much simpler back then and created alot of atmosphere with
minimal equipment.

An excellent
repair job - the original CD-R was terrible indeed. Much much nicer
to listen to now but as you say, a great shame about the distortion,
but musically, a very nice show.

Thanks for latest items. Extremely nice indeed.
The Birmingham 11.2.70 has been cleaned up remarkably well and is
now, as you said, very listenable. And that drum solo at the end...
really nice and unusual to hear.
Relating to a Pink Floyd show featuring rarely performed songs.
Wow, the Boblingen does sound fantastic.
Relating
to the Pink Floyd Sporthalle show from 15/11/72.
Just been listening to your Remastered Leeds 28.2.70 - Really absolutely
fantastic sound and a truely superb version of Saucerful. Certainly
one of the best 70's audience shows I've heard.
Relating
to the Pink Floyd recording known as "Six of One"..
Oakland 9.5.77 - A good improvement comparing with original copy,
again resulting in louder playback.
Relating
to the Pink Floyd show.
Zabriskie 12.69 - Adobe has done the best job on these though. They
were excellent to start with, with only minor hiss, but now there
is near silence beneath the actual music, even the quiet pieces
like the Love Scenes. They are now so nice to listen to. Sure you
think so too.
Relating
to Pink Floyd recording from Rome Nov/Dec 1969 includes unreleased
music from the soundtrack to the film Zabriskie Point..

On Saturday,
I received the first copy of your 17Jun81 show, put to disc by Danalog
from the tape Carzi sent. Absolutely phenomenal! Second set is really
cool, especially In the Flesh and the Dave solos during Hey You
and at the end of Comfy.
Relating
to MoLM remastering Pink Floyd's last Wall show from 17 June 1981
that I recorded.
Since I possess a copy of all Wall shows (except 11Feb80), I will
tell you that your 06Aug80 is definitely one of the best if not
the best
