The
quality of this DVD is excellent for the year. The Hammersmith
Odeon show was only released in the USA in NTSC video format,
and until now has never been available in the UK. In fact I have
only recently discovered it's existence. The show features Dave's
long time friend Roy Harper, and sings a duet with Dave on Roy's
own composition "Short and Sweet". Musically
this is a very fine performance with the odd Pink Floyd classic
thrown in like "Run Like Hell". The show concludes
with the shy and retiring Nick Mason joining the band, and Dave
says, "We'd better make it one he knows", and they play
the Pink Floyd classic "Comfortably Numb".
The DVD itself is very professionaly produced, with features like
selection of Scenes, and the Extras feature the Promo videos plus
the Beyond The Floyd Special documentary.

This documentary is all about Dave Gilmours
first solo tour in 1984, and features interviews with Dave Gilmour,

The whole program is really interesting and the picture and sound
quality are again excellent.
