The
second of two nights at the Heinken Music Hall on the outskirts
of Amsterdam, recorded from the Black Box at Row 22 Seat 42
to the left of centre of the stage.
I did have a bit of a problem with my recording of these shows,
in that the sound (probably bass drum) was often too much
for my microphones and caused what I would call a distortion
spike, like a tiny click. Fortunately I have been able to
remove these tiny clicks with Adobe Audition without any detection.
Some songs had a lot more clicks than others and it has taken
hours to remove all these but it was well worth doing. It
was at it's worse during powerful climaxes in Take A Breath,
Echoes and Comfortably Numb. Here is an example
to show you what I mean from High Hopes before
(358kb) and after
(357kb).
Musicians performing: David Gilmour: guitar & vocals,
Rick Wright; Keyboards, Guy Pratt: Bass, Phil Manzanera: Guitar,
Dick Parry: Saxophone, Jon Carlin: Keyboards and Steve DiStanislao:
Drums.
